Mission statement
The mission of Child to Child International is to encourage and improve acceptance throughout the world by educating children about human rights and cultural diversity.
How?
We do this through school-based curricula, local or international projects identified by students and facilitated by educators. Our goal is to build a network of solidarity and friendship among children from many countries around the globe.
The United Nations proclaimed 2001-2010 the International Decade for a Culture of Peace and Non-violence for the Children of the World. Participating teachers commit to help building this worldwide Culture of Peace by teaching children at an early age about global rights, respect and acceptance. Furthermore, the program stimulates interactive participation by teaching the students how to reach out, exchange ideas with other children around the world and act upon making positive changes.
Child to Child International is a facilitator providing contacts and human rights teaching material in 8 languages.
